Sentio

Building the digital minds field
in London & beyond.

We run the Sentio Series - fortnightly in-person events, each combining a talk, Q&A, and networking.

ABOUT

AI progress may create digital minds, including those that are conscious or sentient. Whether these minds are real or perceived, this raises urgent questions for ethics and safety.

Far too few people are currently working in this area, but Sentio exists to change that. Starting in London, we're building the community that serious work in digital minds needs to thrive.

EVENTS
We run the Sentio Series - fortnightly in-person events, each combining a talk, Q&A, and networking. A home for Londoners working on or interested in digital minds to gather regularly.    The talks explore empirical, governance and moral questions in areas such as AI consciousness, sentience, agency and welfare. Certain events will also be live-streamed for remote attendees.
